After 4 and a half days of hard work at Newcastle University School of Architecture, Planning and Landscape, it’s time to show off the amazing work off the students and their group leaders. 11 different themes managed to bring new perspective over use of materials, surroundings and technology.
This program allows student’s imagination to work without any restraints and teaches them is a stress free way bout time management, how to work in a team and how to take advantage of everyone’s ideas and perceptions. All 11 groups were lead by staff external to the school and providing therefore a greater output for the Charette week as it creates stronger links between school and practitioners. The groups provided incredible solutions to the challenges and impressed once again with their originality.
Newcastle University’s unique approach is a great kick start of the architecture journey that students embark on.
